Power Vinyasa
96 Infrared Heat

Power Vinyasa yoga is the foundation for all yoga classes at Baptiste Power Yoga Indianapolis. In this class you will experience the Journey into Power sequence developed by Baron Baptiste and personalized by your instructor. This is a very intentional flow that allows you to experience a full body workout including meditation, every time you step on your mat.  In this challenging and dynamic yoga class, you will lengthen, twist, and tone with emphasis on mindful breath, alignment for a safe practice, and focus. We encourage all levels of yogis to jump in wherever they are in their journey and choose options as they need to. Join us for community, possibility and action!

Power Ease 
85 Infrared Heat

This is a slower-paced, slightly warm version of our foundational Journey Into Power sequence. We’ll begin with some heat & sweat to quickly tap into our inner fire - and then spend the rest of class utilizing that inner heat to go into deep, restorative stretches for hips, hammies, glutes, and shoulders. Your body & mind will leave in total ease - helping you maintain power & energy while living a full life.

Vinyasa Beats

Our signature Journey into Power class set to a great playlist. Although the beat of our breath is the life of our practice we know it's fun to turn the tunes up and flow with the beat. This rocking vinyasa class is perfect after a  long day of work or if you need just a little more  “motivation”.  Get ready to sweat, tap into your deepest potential and push the limits of what 's possible.  If you are livestreaming a Beats class the teacher will share the playlist prior to the class.

YOD
(YOGA + HIIT+Restore)
90 Infrared Heat

YOD stands for Your Own Determination. This class features the intentional movement, strengthening, and stretching of fast paced, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout within a power yoga class. The class will begin with power yoga to warm up your body. Then, an integration series will engage the muscles and align your upper body, lower body and core.  YOD's intentional movements create presence in your body and a FUN environment where anything is possible! The YOD sequence will always include strength-building, agility and cardio. YOD ends with a cool down that allows you to actively recover from the HIIT workout.  We practice together to encourage each other to be the best version of ourselves! If you are livestreaming a beats class the teacher will share the playlist prior to the class. 

YIN
Non-Heated

Now is the time to take care of you! No matter what other “exercise” you do or don’t do - YIN is the great equalizer. Yin is often seated postures and is great for all levels. It focuses on slowly stretching the connective tissues around joints, which in turn also helps to strengthen them and assist with long-term flexibility. This practice works with cool muscles rather than muscles that have been warmed up. In addition, it is a meditative practice with calming music, dim lights and inspiration and we sometimes us the wall! 

Relax & Restore 
Non-Heated

In this class you get both YIN and the practice of Yoga Nidra. Yin is often seated postures and is great for ALL levels! Yin yoga focuses on slowly stretching the connective tissues around joints, which in turn also helps to strengthen them and assist with long-term flexibility. Yoga Nidra—known as yogic sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. We encourage you to bring a block, blanket and eye pillow.

Flow & Reset

Wind down from your weekend and setup for the week ahead with a slower, gentler version of our foundational Journey Into Power sequence.  We'll take time to focus on breath and alignment as we move through poses, leaving plenty of time for a blissful savasana.  Please bring blocks, blankets, bolsters and any other props that would support you in your practice!

Chair Yoga
Non-Heated

This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or using a chair for support during standing poses. Chair yoga is especially suitable for older adults, people with balance or coordination issues and those newer to yoga. Chair yoga helps increase flexibility, lung capacity, circulation and strength, improves balance, and relieves stress.  This class incorporates the Baptiste Methodology as well as breathing exercises, stretching, yoga postures, and final relaxation.

Basics/Intro
Non-Heated

This class is for beginners or anyone interested in learning more about the why behind Baptiste Yoga.  It is designed as an introduction to the Journey Into Power sequence and often taught as a mini workshop.  You will be instructed on breathing and the foundations of this transformative yoga practice, and have time to work on postures and alignment. 

Creative Flow

Inthis class you will experience a three-part journey connecting your breath to movement through creative transitions, moving meditations, and an athletic approach to yoga. We will build a foundational flow and then continue to experiment with connecting the body to your the breath through balancing and strength postures while creating fluid and smooth movements. In this challenging and dynamic yoga class, you will lengthen, twist, and tone with emphasis on mindful breath, alignment for a safe practice, and focus to the backdrop of music aligned with our mindfulness theme. We encourage all levels of yogis to join in this creative flow. Get ready to sweat, tap into your deepest potential and push the limits of what 's possible.

Sunday Service
90-94 Infrared Heat

Sunday Service is one part Flow, one part Yin, one part Meditation. It is dynamic and shifting. This class includes mantras and meditations to cleanse your shift your mindset and prepare you for the week ahead. Taught by a rotating staff, each week the theme and energy of the class shifts, providing more of what you're looking for and enough variety to have you come back again and again. Clear your heart. Cleanse your spirit. Enjoy the best of what we do.

$5 Power Hour
Non-Heated

This community class is a non-heated all levels Power Vinyasa created to allow access to yoga for everyone!  Get ready to move, be challenged, and have FUN!!  Students flow from pose to pose, utilizing the principles of alignment, personal awareness and breath. We encourage all levels of yogis to jump in wherever they are in their journey and choose options as they need to.
